Biology, which deals with:
- Collection and analysis of data on population size, seasonal distribution and species vulnerability
- Development of vulnerability maps
- Impact assessments - designing and coordinating beached animal surveys, data collection, necropsy and analysis, reporting and publication
- Post-release survival studies
Conservation science, which deals with:
- Provision of data on species and habitat conservation issues in planning and response.
